The memories of the museum’s first 1960s event of 2015, over the weekend of 30 / 31 May, are possibly starting to fade but  photographs offered by museum staff and visitors provide a regular reminder of the successful weekend. Radio Caroline, present in the visitors gallery throughout the weekend, were kept busy bringing visitors up to date with the radio station and taking requests for the coming week. Refreshments, games, 60s music and book sales were grouped in the garden around the shepherd’s hut and visitors were able to enjoy relaxing in the Saturday sunshine. All in all, it was an event that proved popular with visitors, the Friends of the Museum and museum staff alike. If you missed it, don’t worry, we will be re-running the event over the weekend of 25 / 26 July. We hope to see you there.
